Delivery Update

Hey everyone,
know this is crazy, I am blogging while I am in labor!! Isn't this the new age? I am doing this so that everyone in the bahamas can be updated, it is the easiest way since I can't really call or anything. So I was dialated to a 3 this morning and more ready for labor when I went in at 9:30 this morning. I got to the hospital about 11 and they started pitocin for labor. I am now contracting consistently, right now as we speak even!! There have been two major answers to prayer this morning. 1. I didn't have to wait until this evening, and 2. we were able to chat with Lavar on skype. That made me feel a lot better since I miss him a ton and I hate him not being here. Thanks for all your love and prayers! Can't wait to post pictures of Eli for you guys!

Tomorrow's the day!

Okay everyone!!!  Tomorrow is the day.  I have an appointment at 9:30 in the morning and from there my doctor is going to tell us what we will be doing.  I have two options.  If I go in and I am farther along than last week and she thinks I am more ready for labor then I will go to the hospital and be induced by using Pitocin, which is what they used to induce Tae.  If I go in and I am not ready or farther along than I was last week then she is going to send me home :( but only to come back a little later that night.  Then she will start me on something called Cervital (sp?) and that should help me become more effaced and ready for labor.  I will be on this overnight and this will hopefully prepare me for labor and they will start pitocin in the morning.  All your thoughts and prayers are appreciated.  Lavar isn't going to be here and as you can imagine that is really hard on me (and him but he isn't pushing out a potential 9 pounder!).  My main prayer request would be that when I go in the morning to my appointment that the doctor will say that I am ready to be induced.  This way we might be able to meet baby Eli tomorrow afternoon.  If not then I will probably have to wait until Wednesday and I really just don't want to prolong this longer than we have to.  Pray for Lavar as well, I know it is hard for him to be away from  us.  We miss him too!!!  I will try to post pictures as soon as possible, but at least now everyone is in the know!  I will also post tomorrow on facebook what the outcome of the appointment is.  Thanks for all your love and prayers.  We love you too and can't wait to meet Eli!!!

Pregnancy Pictures!

Hello everyone!  I have been meaning to post these pictures for a while, so finally here they are.  I have a cousin, Lindsey Larson, who is working towards being a photographer so she was able to take some wonderful pictures of Tae and I before little Eli gets there!  I am pretty sure I will be asking her to take pictures of us and Eli when he is gets here too... :)  I think she does a wonderful job and you all should check out her blog!  It is http://labelleviephotos.blogspot.com.  She will be posting more pictures of all her sessions and stuff too!  Become a follower, she is this good and she is just starting, so imagine what she will be able to do!

Gardening!!!

So today we had a really busy day.  It turned out to be a great day!  We decided this morning to weed a part of the yard and get it ready for a garden.  I have always wanted to plant one in our backyard, so it is about time we did it!  I am so happy we did, can't wait for the fresh herbs and veggies!   Hopefully, it is a success and we will actually have fruits and veggies!  I actually helped witht he weeding and toiling of the soil.  Yes, 9 months pregnant, and yes I am proud of myself!!  Here are a few pictures of our day.  I hope that we can keep this up.  I just have to remember to water them everyday.  But it is a great excuse to get outside and do something, and Tae loves to be outside.  He loved it so much that he had to call and ask Grandpa B when he could come over and help him plant his tomoates.  So tomorrow we are heading over there to plant "tomatoes and broccoli" for whatever reason those are what he thinks we are planting.  I don't think it matters though, as long as he is 'helping' Grandpa outside.  I will keep everyone posted on our progress and how it works out.  And no labor yet.  I must admit, I was kinda hoping this might induce it! :)

Look at my boy, isn't he handsome!?!
I think I should put him in modeling or something.  I am sure every proud mom says it about their kids, but mine is really true! :)
Tae 'helping' mommy and poppy get the planting area ready to be planted.
Tae had his own little pots that he got to plant snapdragons in.  Please oh please grow!!  He was so excited about them for the rest of the afternoon he kept telling me that he could see them growing.  Obviously, you could not.
Checking out his work in progress.
What a great picture my mom took.  This is a little glimpse of our garden.  I am SO EXCITED to have fresh veggies and herbs for summer!!
I know I look huge, but hey, I am 38 weeks pregnant!!  I hate potsing these kinds of pictures, but I guess I have to document it somehow!

Easter!

Here are some pictures from Easter.  We had a lot of fun yesterday with family.  Tae was exhausted by the end of the day!  He has kinda a love/hate relationship with his girl cousins...  Hopefully that will develop when they are older.  He just needs Austin and Landon to grow up a little more and then they will all be hanging out ganging up on the girls!  But Tae does love Coby and Cade and they are so good to him.

Getting his Easter basket

Look at that face!

Yes, he got a bite of chocolate before breakfast.  I asked him if he wanted a little bite before breakfast and he said "no."  We all thought 'what the heck, he always wants chocolate!'  Then he said "no mommy, I want a BIG bite of chocolate!"

This is Tae and Elinor, quite possibly one of the cutest little girls I've met.  I think they have little crushes on each other!  When they hugged, right before this picture, they would not let go!  Then when Tae put his arm around her, she just stared into the distance, like 'this is heaven'. Then she looked up at Tae like that, it was so stinkin cute. So ya, we're planning the wedding.

This beautiful picture was taken by Lindsey Larson Photography.  Isn't it great?  She is taking a photography class and we are going to do a photo shoot soon.  She is good and literally just started.  I can't wait to see how good she gets!

And another from Lindsey

Look at those faces! So cute!

Tae just wanted to wrestle with the boys.  His little brother can't come fast enough!
Me and Katie.  It was so good to see her!

Me and Marissa

Well Thanks for taking a look.  Easter was a wonderful day filled with love friends and family.  We are so blessed to have so many people around us that are supportive and caring and loving.  The Lord has truly blessed us!  He Has Risen, Praise the Lord!!

Next Saturday is my baby shower!!  Then we patiently (or not so much) await the arrival of little Eli!!

Johnny is moved to Portland!

Okay, so about 2 or 3 weeks ago Johnny announced that he would be moving to Portland, Oregon.  Sounds a little out of the blue, but it is Johnny and our family is an adventurous one I would say.  So after Greg and Stephanie's wedding he packed up all his stuff and spent his last couple days here with out family in Simi, hanging out and just yesterday made the drive up there.  Which he did very quickly, I must say.  I have some pictures of Johnny and Tae.  Tae LOVES his uncles (Doneqo, you are definitely included in that!)  He might even be a little annoying every once in a while...   Here are some Tae & Johnny picks before he left and just some random ones.

Tae eating the batter which is really his favorite part.

Tae and Uncle Johnny being weird.  Well, I must say, Tae did start this one.
