The funny things Tae says and does

Tae is hilarious.  He cracks us up.  And he is growing up so fast!!  I just wanted to write a few things down that he is saying and doing, because I don't want to forget and I want you all to experience it too!  First, Tae gets really frustrated easily.  I have NO IDEA where he gets that from!  Anyway, one day he is was drawing and he is going "ugghh!" sounding all frustrated.  Then he says "Ugghh, I am freaking out because I can't draw a circle!"  It was so funny, I had to laugh.  

About 5 or 6 months ago, well maybe closer to a year ago, we had already finished potty training and for whatever reason Tae had an accident.  Well he got spanked for that because he already knew better and he just didn't tell mommy.  Anyway, We were walking home and I said, "Tae you know better, now I have to spank you.  Do you want me to spank you now or do you want to wait until we get home and daddy can spank you."  He said "I don't want anyone to spank me!"  Then he was quiet for a second and then said "I want Grammy to spank me."  That little booger!  He knew Grammy wouldn't do anything to him.  This kid is too smart. 

The other day he was sick all day and he had thrown up and had diarrhea.  I know this might be on the gross side, but it was funny.  I went in his room and it smelled so I asked if he pooped.  He said "No mommy, I just tooted."  I asked if he was sure because it smelled.  He said "I just tooted mommy, like this..."  then proceeded to let one loose.  Once again, I had to laugh.  The little pleasures of having boys I guess.

I have been trying to talk more about God and Jesus to relate things he learns from Sunday school and such into everyday life.  I know I could be better at it, but he is starting to understand.  Well the other day he told me "You don't lie to God Mommy, if you lie to God he will give you spanks."  Well Tae, that is most definitely true, more than you know, as Daddy said.

That is all I can think of for now, even though I know there are plenty more.  I will try to be more consistent in writing them down so you can read them too.  Love you all!

Tae turns 3!

Tae is turning 3 years old today.  I look at some old pictures and I can't believe it has been 3 years!  He already seems so much older and more mature, I guess you can't stop time, sometimes I wish I could slow it down a little bit!  Here are some pictures of his little party he had last night.  Small with a few friends and family, but he liked it.

What chaos it is opening presents at a kids birthday party when all the other kids want to "help"!  It was cute and fun and Tae enjoys it.

Updates

I know I have been horrible at doing this and that I need to. We have a lot of family out of town that doesn't get to see us often and I don't have any way that I update them! So this is it, I am going to get better at posting pictures and everything so that our Bahamian family and out-of-towners can see our little family growing.

There isn't much new going on around here! Just waiting for little Eli John to make his entrance. He is a mover though, he is moving a lot more than I remember Tae moving, I am not sure if that is a good thing or not... I have a feeling that he is going to be a rough and tumble kinda kid. Tae seems to be more on the sensitive side. He cares if people are crying or upset and he doesn't want to hurt anyone. So maybe his little brother is going to come and beat him up! We will see, it is funny trying to guess what personality he will have. But about 5 more weeks to go! I don't feel like I can get any bigger even though I know that is a possibility! I am ready to be done being pregnant, and this is the last time for sure. Sorry Mom, no girls!! Maybe Doneqo will help you out with that in a few years!

As you all know, Lavar is in Austria. He will most likely be there through the end of May, middle June and will most likely be missing Eli's birth. We are both sad about that, but we also know that we are in the Lord's hands and His will is going to be done. Tae definitely misses his daddy. He talks about how cool he is all the time. But we do our best for our situation, trying to talk as much as we can and let Tae see him on webcam sometimes.

Lavar and I just bought a car!! Crazy, we finally have a car! I was going crazy without one, stuck at home with Tae all the time. So praise the Lord we have something! It is a Honda Element. They are boxy looking and look small from the outside, but it is incredible how much space they have inside. Lavar will have plenty of room, even with two car seats in the back! My dad and Lavar will also be using it for their business, collecting candy and vending machines. It gets good gas mileage too, so that helps.

I guess that is all that is going on right now. I am going to get better at posting pictures etc. I still have a ton from our Bahamas trip that I never even took off my camera. It was a new camera and I don't have a cord that goes to the computer and then never got around to it. I am determined to be better though!
