My First Baby Shower

So yesterday I had my first baby shower given by my Aunt Donna and Aunt Veta. It was so much fun. I am so thankful that I have such a wonderful supporting family. There were people there from both sides, Durso and Beauchamp, even Larson. Aunt Donna went with a French theme because that is where we will be living next year. I thought that was wonderfully creative. There were three cakes, red, white and blue, the colors of the French flag. We played a few fun games and opened presents. Tae is going to have everything that he needs! A few people pitched in and bought us a stroller, Jessica and Aunt Jan bought a pack n' play, and Grandma Durso bought me a baby bjiorn and the diaper bag I wanted! But when I got there, there was a pleasant surprise. My Grandpa Beauchamp made me a cradle by hand which my mom painted with little decorations! My Grandma Beauchamp made Tae a little blanket and giraffe toy. It was very thoughtful and something that I can pass down through the years. Here are some pictures:

Pictures

Here is a picture of my last trip to France. I had gone to the doctor 2 weeks earlier and the doctor wrote what we were having on a card inside an evelope. So for two weeks, I had what we were having in an evelope but never looked! I wanted to find out with Lavar. So the first night in France, after his game, we opened the envelope. Jessica Schad was there and was able to take pictures when we opened. Here is one of my favorites. Do you think Lavar wanted a boy?
