Inspired!
Okay, so along with probably the majority of the women who saw Julie and Julia, I have been inspired. Partially because I love cooking, yes, but mostly because I want to keep better track of my life and my memories. I have a crazy wonderful life and a horrible memory! If I don't write these things down there really is not much hope of me remembering them later. What I love about Julia Child and Paul Child (her husband) is that they wrote letters when they were in Europe, back to their family and friends in America and that is what they used to remember their time in France when writing My Life in France. Well, it is 2009 and blogs are the "it" thing. I think this well help me be in touch with family and friend and update people about anything new in our lives! As of now, we are in Simi Valley waiting to see where Lavar's next team will be. It is between Spain, Germany, and Turkey I think, they have shown interest but made no offers. So we will see!

Easter
hello everyone! Here are some pictures from Easter. Tae and I went to my friend Charlotte's parent's house for Easter. It was a really nice three story house! There was a little pool in the front yard and everything. Of course it was cold so we didn't get to be outside too much, but it was still fun. Anyway, here are some pictures. Enjoy!

Tae playing with some toys they had there

Looking for Easter eggs

he actually got the hang of it, putting them in the bag

The two little kids that were there, they couldn't understand why Tae wasn't so crazy about finding the eggs! Because he hasn't tasted chocolate yet!

Trying to surf in the house

This little boy tried to pick him up! But it was so cute, he was being so very nice to Tae. It was sweet.

With the eggs again

the other kids helping him

Trying to help him understand teh concept

He is getting it! what a smart little boy!

Tae turns one!
Okay, well Tae just turned one!! Well okay, he hasn't turned one yet, that is next Sunday, but we had his party today! So much fun and so cute. Here are some pictures. I won't be able to explain all the pictures, but I thought you might enjoy them. Below are some pictures of Tae eating his cake, it was so cute. Oh and the pictures are out of order as far as the day went.

Tae opening some presents

Grammy had to buy this back pack for him, and when we put it on him, he didn't take it off for the rest of the night! It was so cute, but now that I know he will wear it, I will be making him carry stuff for me!

His Friend Charlotte

Our neighbor and friend, Susana and her daughter Tamara

Tyra and Tae

The injured boys, Ronnie and Lavar

Tae and Tamara, Tae is just staring at Tamara's hat, not realizing that he is wearing one too! So funny

Playing with the nobs on the washing machine, he's not supposed to but it was his birthday party!

Poppy and Tae again

Tae's race car cake! Made and decorated by Mommy and Grammy

Tae is a very busy little boy. Just ask Grammy and Poppy

More Pictures of Tae, of course!
This is one morning he was playing with his blocks. I bought these a while ago but then just brought them out again. He likes to have me build something and then he knocks it over. He is a boy! He makes this growl noise too now, when they fall. It is cute.

This is my little Chef!! I was baking cookies and he always wants to be where I am so I thought, he can help! I opened one of the drawers and he grabbed a whisk. He was tryin to stir in the bowl that I was making the dough in so I gave him his own bowl and he was satisfied. Just stirring away!! Anyone who is wondering, he was fine on the chair, I was watching him!
