He is walking!!!

Hello everyone! Tae Tae is walking! He started earlier in the week and he is getting so good at it! It took a while for me to get a good video because he never performs and wouldn't do it for the camera!! So he is getting better and better and I know soon enough he will be running around here! I can't believe how fast this happens! So here are some pictures and videos of Tae! What a face!

He actually climbed in himself! It was so cute, except now his toy box is trashed!

Standing at last night's game. I actually thought I was videoing it, but it turned out ot be a good picture!

This is the video of him walking at home. He is getting so good!

He walked to daddy after the game!! So cute!

Update

Hello All!

There are no pictures here, just update! So far so good here. Lavar has had two out of three shots on his knees to help him feel better when he plays. He is already feeling better so hopefully this will help him completely so he doesn't have to get surgery this summer. If he does, it is only a 6 week recovery, which I guess isn't that bad to what it could be. If you haven't heard, his coach just quit while we were home for Christmas. This is a bummer because the coach was American and was a good coach. So now they have a French coach. He has already cut one of the players, and things are looking a little shady. Just the way they handle things is not great. The American player they cut is actually very good, and he was playing good. They didn't even tell this guy until the day before they brought the new guy in. And their reasons where that Mike, the old guy, had been talking to Pro A teams. This is stupid, because he wasn't and that is no reason to fire him. Lavar's job is secure though. He is a very good player for his position. He is not considered an American and he is not French, but he plays as good as an american. If they cut him, it would be hard to find someone to fill his spot. So good!

Tae is not walking yet! He can stand on his own and he took some steps a couple times, but nothing more. I think physically he can, but he is faster crawling so he doesn't really even want to try. So he is taking his own sweet time. I guess that is okay, people say it gets crazy when they start. He isn't talking with real words yet, but he is fluent in Baby! He holds things that look like a phone up to his ear and talks. So cute. He might be getting some more teeth. He is drooling a lot, but I don't feel anything. Still loves to eat!! Mommy and daddy can't even eat without him in his highchair and something on it!

I am doing good. I am supposed to start French classes soon. I have a meeting on next Thursday to see where I will fit in. I am excited about that because I really need to get crackin! My parents are coming in March so we are going to have a birthday party for the little guy. Other than that, all is well. The travel agency is going well. A couple people here are interested and we are working on some other trips. I enjoy it as well!

Thanks for all your love and support. I hope you enjoy the pictures and I will hopefully be better at updating the blog!! I love reading the comments!!

More pictures of Tae

Okay, so hopefully this will satisfy Grammy for a while!! Here are some more pictures. The one above is in a store here, called Gèant and they had little cars the kids can "ride" one. So Tae loved the tractor because it had a steering wheel. The one under is when Tae tackled our friend Tyra and then kept laying his head down on her. It was so cute. We were trying to take a picture, but he always would out his head up for the camera. So this was the best one.
Another Tractor picture. So serious when he drives, just like daddy!
I thought Uncle Johnny and Uncle Eric would like this one. This is what they gave him for Christmas, a drum, much to mommy and daddy's delight he loves to play it! He actually took his thermometer and a hammer from his other toy Aunt Veta and Uncle Tim got him, and plays the drums! Creative kid, huh?
He found the cookies. The little destructo man gets in the cubboard and this time found the cookies. It was so funny, because it had been a hard day with him, so I was so happy that he was happy and quiet, so I let him. There was like 1 bite out of each cookie. At one point he had 3 cookies in his hands!
Different view.

This is what he looks like after he drinks his bottle. Not all the time, but he was messy this time for some reason. I thought it was funny.
We took a trip to the beach. He loved to just crawl around in the sand. He wanted to play with the other kids' toys, so next time we go we will have to bring some buckets or something.
I decided to give him spagetti noodles one night... BIG MISTAKE!! I don't know if you can see the floor very well. But basically he was throwing them more than he ate them. It kept him busy at least.
One of his funny faces. I have to get this other face he makes on camera, it is so funny.
This is at the store where the kids can play inside this thing. Tae must have thought he was trapped, so I went in there with him for a little bit.
This video is in Reims on the Merry-Go-Round. He loved it, it was so cute!

Hello everyone! I am so sorry that this has taken so long! I took a trip with a friend to Paris for the week to visit a friend and here are some of the pictures. As you might notice, my friend, Emilie, is 9 months pregnant and ready to have a little girl any day now! Her name will be Ayanna. I thought that was pretty. If I write too much I will never finish the blog and you will never see the pictures! So I will just post. Miss you all and love you, I will write more soon!

Quimper vs Brest

One of the most hyped up games of the year for the guys is Quimper vs Brest. Quimper is a city nearby and I guess there is a kind of rival between the towns. So the game is huge. It was packed. A lot of Brest, fans came too. So me, Tae, Jinessa, Tyra, and one of the other girlfriends Leila decided to drive to the game. My camera battery was dying so I didn't get a lot of pictures, but here are the few I got. Of Tae and our car. Above is the coaches daughter, Edell. She is the one that was making Tae laugh so hard in the video. Tae is getting very independant. He wanted to crawl everywhere. I had to pull him back to where we were sitting a number of times. As you can see in the background all of the fans that were there. And to the right are where the handicap sit. Tae also wanted to climb on their wheelchairs... haha I caught him before he could get there though. They had little pom-pom girls that go and "cheer" during breaks. Well, Tae really liked their pom-poms. It was funny, I mean look at them of course he thought they were interesting!

Unfortunately, I don't have any actual pictures of the game, I kept thinking my camera was going to die. But when we went out to our car we had an unpleasant surprise waiting for us. In France, there are very few rules about parking. You can park either way on a street, no matter what way side of the street is going. You can park on the grass, on the sidewalk, pretty much anywhere, although we have gotten a few tickets. Anyway, since the game was packed there were no more regular parking spots left so we had to park under a tree on the grass. It actually wasn't that bad of a spot so I thought, great! Then when we came back from the game this is what we found...

And then of course, anotehr one of Tae. He fell asleep in the car on the way home, so cute.
